ADRON

Adron is the musical world of singer-songwriter Adrienne McCann, an Atlanta-born artist whose sound moves effortlessly between Brazilian Tropicália, folk, soul, jazz, and classic pop. Inspired early on by artists such as Os Mutantes, Caetano Veloso, Marcos Valle, Joni Mitchell, and Harry Nilsson, she developed a deeply personal style built around intricate songwriting, imaginative arrangements, warm guitar work, and her unmistakably dreamy voice.

After releasing her self-titled debut in 2008, Adron followed with Organismo in 2011, an album later cited by Wilco among its favorites. Her relationship with Brazilian music continued to deepen, leading her to learn Portuguese, write in the language, and eventually open for the legendary Os Mutantes—as well as Donald Fagen of Steely Dan.

In 2018, Adron joined Tribo Records for the release of Water Music, a lush collection she describes as “tropical pop and soul.” Romantic, playful, sophisticated, and unmistakably her own, Adron’s music creates a colorful space where Brazilian rhythm, ’70s songwriting, psychedelic pop, and intimate storytelling naturally meet.
