Formed in Atlanta in 2016, KIN.TheBand unites Charles LaMont Garner, Rafael Pereira, and Nick Rosen. The trio brings extensive touring experience with artists including Janelle Monáe, Justin Timberlake, Faye Webster, and PJ Morton. Following their 2019 release with Paula Champion, KIN returned to the road with support from South Arts’ Jazz Road program, touring the Southeast. Their forthcoming album, Cosmic Dreams, was recorded at Sonic Ranch Studios in Tornillo, Texas, in March 2025. Inspired by the sounds and spirit of the 1980s, their music blends heartfelt melodies, infectious grooves, and boundless imagination into a sound rooted in friendship, experience, and Atlanta’s vibrant creative community.
